A specialist search of our database of over 10,000 candidates within our speciality sectors which can be against your vacancy criteria. This search will use the following criteria to form a draft shortlist:

A copy of the job specification is forwarded to all relevant candidates who have been shortlisted for the vacancy. Candidates are not considered for the next stage of the recruitment process unless they have specifically stated their desired interested in the position.
This process will ensure that you are only sent CV’s of candidates that are genuinely interested in your vacancy, we don’t sent CV’s for the sake of sending them.
Pre-screening & 1st Interviews
Pre-screening (which can be conducted by telephone or face to face interview) is always client/vacancy specific. Whilst the database search has ensured that all candidates meet the broad criteria for the role, pre-screening is vital to ensure accuracy in candidate selection.
Pre-screening will typically assess the following:

Breadth and depth of specific experience – i.e. product knowledge and client development

Scope of previous roles, level of responsibility

Interpersonal and communication skills

Personality and character traits

In addition, for retained assignments, we are able to provide face to face competency based interviews and provide interview report on shortlist.
Short Listing and CV Submission
Final shortlist for interview is submitted together with cvs at this stage. We will normally submit a maximum of 5 accurately selected cvs per headcount required at this stage unless otherwise agreed by our client. We will include the following information routinely:

Interview Selection, 2nd Interviews and Job Offers
Services provided at this stage include:

Arranging 1st and 2nd interviews between client and candidate and confirming same in writing

Negotiating offer between candidate and client

Timescales
The speed of the recruitment process for Contingency recruitment is very much driven by the agency in the early stages upto shortlist and by the client once interviews have been agreed. However, as a general guide, the following timescales apply:

Results of database search – Available within 24 hours of receipt of job specification

Results of candidate responses - Normally available within 2 working days of receipt of job specification

CVs and shortlists – within 3-4 days of receipt of job specification
